Named after Ananias Shipena, the school began with about 700 learners and 16 teachers and has grown to become one of the most respected schools in the Khomas region. Despite early challenges, such as the bombing of its administration block in 1986 and limited resources, the school has shown resilience and steady progress. In 1987, it acquired its first computer through a local radio program, symbolizing its determination to embrace growth and innovation. Under the leadership of its current principal, Moses Haufiku, who took over in 2015, A.
